Frozen People on elektronisen musiikin ja pohjoisen taiteen festivaali Oulun Nallikarissa. Tapahtuma järjestetään sääolosuhteita uhmaten talvella Perämeren jäällä. Jäätynyt meri tarjoaa brutaalit ja ainutlaatuiset arktiset olosuhteet maailman hyytävimmille tansseille ja taide-elämyksille.
Festivaalin vuosittaisen musiikkiohjelman muodostavat paikalliset ja kansainväliset lahjakkuudet. Taidesisällöissä näkyvät niin performanssit, installaatiot, valotaide kuin erilaiset osallistavat ohjelmanumerotkin. Frozen People on kokemus, jota et halua jättää väliin!
Festivaalin päätapahtuma järjestetään Nallikarissa klo 14–22. Viralliset After Sea -jatkot pidetään Kulttuuritalo Valveella Oulun keskustassa klo 23–04. Festivaalin päätapahtuma Nallikarissa on pääsymaksuton, jatkotapahtuman liput voi ostaa ennakkoon Ticketmasterin kautta.
Oulu on vuoden 2026 Euroopan kulttuuripääkaupunki, ja tapahtuma toteutetaan osana Oulu2026-kulttuuriohjelmaa. Festivaali on pääsymaksuton.

Frozen People is a festival of electronic music and northern art held at Nallikari in Oulu. The event defies the weather conditions during the winter on the frozen waters of the Bothnian Bay. The frozen sea provides the brutal and unique Arctic conditions for the world's most chilling dances and art experiences.
The annual music program comprises both local and international talents. The artistic content consists of performances, installations, light art, and various interactive program items. Frozen People is an experience you won't want to miss!
The main event of the festival will be held in Nallikari from 14:00 to 22:00. The official After Sea -after event takes place at Cultural Centre Valve, in the center of Oulu, from 23:00 to 04:00. The main event at Nallikari is free of charge, and tickets for the after event are sold on Ticketmaster.
Oulu is the European Capital of Culture for the year 2026, and the event is part of the Oulu2026 cultural programme. The festival is free of charge.
